We know you can shoot video with your digital camera and your phone, but most photographers are petrified about editing. Well, in this evening’s meetup Greg and Daniel will show you how you can process and edit your video clips, using Apple’s iMovie and Adobe Premiere Pro.
This meeting will be held at our usual location, West Hollywood’s Plummer Park Community Center.
Daniel, Greg and George will demonstrate a number of useful features in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
This meeting will be held at our usual location, Plummer Park Recreation Center in West Hollywood.
A beautiful summer evening, overlooking Dodger Stadium and the downtown Los Angeles skyline. That’s the setting for our July event, a photowalk in Elysian Park.
Bring your tripods and settle in for golden hour, the sunset, the city lights at dusk and the blue hour of last light.
We’ll meet at Elysian Fields, off Elysian Park Drive, between 7 and 7:30. It’s a little hard to find on Google Maps, but if you search for the Little League office, you’ll get close.
There is parking at our meeting point, and a few locations of interest for the evening. Our primary location is right above Dodger Stadium, which should be lit up for a game against Minnesota Twins.
Sunset is at 8pm, with the sky getting darker until Civil Twilight at 8:30. The park closes at 9, at which time it should be completely dark.
After that, we can retire for a sandwich and a beer at Philippes, the original French Dip restaurant near Union Station.

Stephen Burns brings his love of Photoshop compositing art to LADIG on May 23rd.
This month, he’s going to talk about using Photoshop’s Apply Image command for compositing multiple images, masking, and controlling color through the use of layer blend modes.
Join Stephen Burns and learn a slick way to control details, contrast and color using the Apply Image Command. This is one of the few least understood workflows in Photoshop for using masking results without using layer masks.
You will get an understanding of layer blend modes, masking concepts and color control. So don’t miss this as it will change how you edit your images in post.
