September 20: Wildlife Photography with Carl Palazzolo

We are thrilled to have Carl Palazzolo back to talk to us about his wildlife photography.

Carl is a veterinarian at Long Beach Animal Hospital where he has been treating a wide range of common and exotic animals for 25 years. Dr. P also does conservation work throughout the world, working with endangered species in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Borneo, Idaho, and Yellowstone National Park.

He will share his beautiful images and entertaining stories of trips to places near and far; and talk about how to shoot wildlife, both the equipment and awareness necessary to capture great photographs.

Please take a look at Carl’s website for more inspiration.

Our event will be held at Plummer Park (Fiesta Hall) in West Hollywood. The entrance is on Santa Monica Blvd at Martel Ave, there is adequate parking on-site (3 hr limit) with additional parking available at the north end of the park (accessible from Fountain Ave).

Doors open at 6pm for snacks and socializing, the presentation will start at 7pm.
