August 16th: The new mobile workflow – from RAW to Instagram

New developments in Adobe Lightroom – on iOS, Android, on the web and on the desktop – are changing our workflow in interesting new ways.

Now you can import RAW files directly into your phone, edit on your phone and send to social media in best possible quality; and sync to the cloud and desktop.

New localized adjustments bring the same editing finesse from the desktop to your mobile device as well. You can now also upload and edit photos from any web browser into your Lightroom catalog.

New Apple USB3 adapters make it easy to connect your camera or SD card directly to your iPhone or iPad, and quickly upload large RAW files to your mobile device.

All these changes expand your workflow flexibility and make it a real possibility to leave your laptop at home.

We’ll be talking about these and other new feature additions to Lightroom at our August 16th event.

Our event will be held at Plummer Park (Fiesta Hall) in West Hollywood. The entrance is on Santa Monica Blvd at Martel Ave, there is adequate parking on-site (3 hr limit) with additional parking available at the north end of the park (accessible from Fountain Ave).

Doors open at 6pm for snacks and socializing, the presentation will start at 7pm.

Admission is free and open to all, but we’d appreciate a donation to help keep LADIG rolling. Register on the form below:
