Travel photography is not about having the “best” camera – is not even about making the “best” picture – it is about telling stories that make visible what other cultures and other environments feel like! At its best, travel photography can give a sense of the experience of meeting a new culture and a new environment, and stimulate desire in going there!
On Tuesday, November 17, come listen as George and Greg talk about their adventures in travel photography.
George Simian has been visiting Bali for years, and has led many private photo workshops where participants learn to tell the story of their own experience with photographs. Come see images made during these workshops, and learn how focusing one’s attention, and thinking through the situation at hand, make for successful travel photographs! Most valuable will be the opportunity to ask George about all the challenges (and the hard-learned solutions) to photographing in a completely new environment!
Also, Daniel will discuss the latest Lightroom CC 2015.2, a somewhat controversial update.
