September 15: Video for Photographers with Larry Jordan

We’re happy to welcome Larry Jordan to LADIG, who will help us photographers get up to speed making videos.

Larry Jordan is a producer, director, editor, consultant and trainer. He’s based in Los Angeles and is a member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America. Visit his website to discover thousands of technical articles – and eight books – on all facets of production and post-production. Larry is a frequent guest at the LACPUG User Group, which is a great resource for all things video.

Greg Dyro will present a short subject on creating video on your mobile device, using Adobe Premiere Clip and other apps.

Our monthly Event takes place at the Plummer Park Community Center in West Hollywood (map). The entrance is on Santa Monica Blvd at Martel Ave, there is adequate parking on-site (3 hr limit) with additional parking available at the north end of the park (accessible from Fountain Ave).

Doors open at 6pm for snacks and socializing, the presentation will start at 7pm.

Admission is free, but we’d appreciate a donation to help keep LADIG rolling.

Update: Here is a pdf of Larry’s slide deck.
