Jimmy Steinfeldt is a veteran Rock’N’ Roll photographer who has photographed Madonna, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton and nearly every legendary artist in the last 30 years. His photographs have appeared in 100s of publications including Rolling Stone, Spin, and Time magazines.
His new book, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Lens” is a collection of many of Jimmy’s favorite photographs, and just as importantly it is a collection of his personal stories. With each picture, he’s included anecdotes and cherished memories about the extraordinary musicians he met, which convey a unique perspective on his many years in photography.
Jimmy is a self-taught photographer who cites photographer Richard Avedon and cinematographer Karl Freund among his strongest influences. Jimmy’s unique style shows the personality of his artist-musician subjects while conveying the story of their music.
