Keep your Lightroom Catalog growing and healthy with this presentation by our new President, Daniel Sofer.
We inevitably run out of room in our computer for our photos, especially in these days of laptops with smaller Solid State Drives. Daniel will share his tips for managing Lightroom Catalogs and migrating older photos to external drives, while keeping them in the catalog.
We’ll be talking about:
- Where is your catalog and the photos it contains.
- Finding lost photos and reconnecting them to your catalog.
- Moving photos while keeping them linked to your catalog
- Using Smart Previews to maintain access to off-line photos.
- Working with multiple catalogs.
- Best backup strategies.
We’ll leave plenty of time for questions and help, so if you need help bring your Lightroom and we’ll help you out!
Our February Event takes place at the Plummer Park Community Center in West Hollywood (map). The entrance is on Santa Monica Blvd at Martel Ave, there is adequate parking on-site (3 hr limit) with additional parking available at the north end of the park (accessible from Fountain Ave).
